can i buy a new hand grip for second generation glock 17?
hi i have a second generation glock 17. recently during shifting i cracked its plastic hand grip. is it possible to get a new plastic lower portion for it. and would it be possible to get a generation 4 plastic lower part and fit the upper metal portions on it.

The gen 4 frame is slightly different from the older models. They changed the frame when the modified the recoil spring. The older slides will fit on the gen 4 frame but there will be a open space between them. It may work but personally I wouldn't try it.
Just buy a gen 4 Glock.
Around 8:22 he puts a gen 3 slide on a gen 4 frame and you can see the space between them.
