Is it safe to use Iron Utensil which is turning oil and food to green color?
I bought a cast iron kadai (Indian deep fry pan) from local shop as there is no branded ones in market. Iron is quite cheap. And that is why I don't think anyone will sell impure iron knowingly as mixing anything will increase its cost. What kind of impurity found in impure iron can turn color of food to green? I have stopped using the utensil but I am in dilemma whether or not to through it in bin.
Well, if it's turning oil & food green...I mean, that can't be a good thing...I'd throw it out if I were you.
