Are they "see" jobs (as defined by the IRS) is limited to transactions between business firms?
I want to consult individuals in their personal wellness / fitness issues. Something like a personal Fitness Trainer, but with nutrition, meditation, etc. as well. But what the IRS is concerned, I want to do is considered "consulting", "Service", or what?!
Yes, only consultants apply to a commercial transaction. In business, a consultant is a "work for hire" line item when it comes to the accounts and books. is not an employee as such. An employee has certain things that you must provide, such as health insurance, workmans compensation and the like that does not apply to a consultant. A consultant is simply a service contract for a one-time event in the direction of the company. As an individual, you can amortize the costs of a personal trainer as a business expense life for life, but can you if this was an actual cost of conducting a legitimate business of a company and it was a service they provide to their employees as an incentive to increase productuivity.
