How to send a cancellation fee?
I want to cancel my Bally membership because I moved (from U.S. to Europe) and the contract says: "Your notice must be sent with a $ 50 cancellation fee." This is not something we do here, and English is not my mother tongue, I'm not sure what exactly they mean by this. You mean, literally, sent $ 50, or a check or something? Because I have a book checking, or even a U.S. bank account for that matter. Or do they say that only charged $ 50 on my credit card? (That is how I can pay my membership fees as well)
Ask if they have a membership cancellation form that can be filled with a credit card. Or send them a cancellation letter and giving them permission to charge your credit card for $ 50 only.
