Will this charger work on this other airsoft gun? Is the other gun good?
I have Colt Field Duty AEG Rifle and Pistol Kit from Dick's Sporting Goods. Someone accidentally threw out the charger. I was wondering if most all airsoft guns have the same charger so that I could get another and I would be able to charge the old AEG Rifle. I was thinking about getting the Crosman NightProwler. Is there another better electric gun under $130 maybe with a detachable stock. Thanks.
OK let's see. When I decide to mix and match chargers and batteries I compare voltage and amplitude
If your battery and charger have the same voltage (volts/v) you're in the right ballpark.
Second amplitude (amp/mAh) Most chargers are about 250amps. As long as you have the same voltage you can basically mix any amp charger and battery.
But usually on most stock batteries for airsoft guns, you can simply match voltage of the battery and charger and get away with it. Just make sure your charger and battery have the same amplitude.
One word of advice, if your battery begins to get warm/hot, unplug it. It's either done charging
