ok, so lately my palm on my right hand has been throbbing. it feels kind of like a vacuum is sucking in my skin under it. upon closer inspection, i noticed that my hand was actually twitching. also, my thumb and forefinger on that same hand usually twitch whenever i'm sick. i also started a new fitness plan now that my palm is twitching, so i wonder if that has anything to do with it since when you're sick, nutrients and proteins also leave your body. and another thing which worries me about my hands is that my left one used to get pins and needles then go numb. does anyone have any info on this? please help! i have a doctor's appointment in august but i'm terrified i'll have to amputate my hand someday or something! oh, and i'm 14 if that helps.
well, if the twitching is connected to sickness and fitness plans, diet and exercise i'm assuming, then it's probably the nutrients being drained by your body. sometimes people develop twitches due to a lack of iron. anyways, i'm sure it's nothing serious. i doubt you have epilepsy, but to check, see if anything happens when you flicker the lights. if nothing, then you're fine. this might also be made worse by stress. tell me, does the twitching worsen when you think about it? if yes, then this may be due to anxiety. as for your left hand, i wouldn't think too much of that. minor nerve damage at the most. bring it up at the doctor's appointment but don't stress about it til then. and honey, i don't think your hand will be amputated.
