ROTC fitness test?
I'm a freshman in college and I begin Army ROTC when the semester starts next week. The entrie squad, including seniors through people who are just starting like me, has to take a fitness test the first week. If I fail, am I going to get kicked out of the program? What's going to happen if my run time isn't fast enough or I don't do enough push-ups?
dont sweat it, as a freshman, u dont have to take pt test if u dont want too, unless you are a scholarship recipient. are you? If you are, they can take you monthly pay away till you pass the next pt test, and they will probably be giving you one every week till you pass, but thats all up to ur chain of command. but anyways, they wont even kick out a Senior for failing one pt test, they have them retake it in a couple of weeks. they will only kick you out for pt tests if they start seeing a patter of either going back and forth of passing and failing or just straight failing. but as a freshman dont worry, they time they really start watching you and your pt test results are junior year.
the army is hurting soo bad for officers that they wont drop a cadet for one pt test. soo good luck on it.
