I think I have to disagree.

A man can have the body of Adonis, but can still have a face like a robbers dog.

Perhaps straight men have more important things to spend their time on than worry about how they look. As long as they are healthy and happy, who cares.

When I got married, I put on weight too. But given the choice between a good honest decent husband with love handles, and a vain, obsessive muscle mary who loves his abs more than he loves me, I know which I'd go for every time.
